Marc escaped to China immediately after finishing business school. He quickly became one of the most sought after nightlife photographers in Shanghai, capturing everything from hedonistic parties to red carpet, A-list events. He brought his nightlife career to an end with the exhibition The Sun Sets in the East at BASEMENT6.

He also dedicated himself to chronicling far-flung, cultural events and the last bastions remaining against globalisation. His photoseries on Tibetan horse festivals was published by Nat Geo Traveller.

He has shot for Budweiser, VANS, ServicePlan, Mindshare and was the DOP on feature documentary 'Too High To Fall'.
